Tailoring P2Y12 Inhibiting Therapy in Elderly Patients With Myocardial Infarction Undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention



In patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), the more potent P2Y12 inhibitors ticagrelor and prasugrel are recommended over clopidogrel, in combination with aspirin, for the prevention of recurrent atherothrombotic events.
