Improved Left Main PCI Results with Four Combined Techniques



Unprotected left main coronary artery disease (LM-CAD) has high mortality and was traditionally treated with bypass surgery, but PCI is now a viable option with comparable outcomes. Advances like intravascular ultrasound and newer drug-eluting stents have improved PCI results, though the effectiveness of techniques like the 2-stent approach and final kissing balloon inflation requires further study.
