Coronary chronic total occlusion (CTO), which is defined as a native coronary artery that is completely obstructed with Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction (TIMI) grade 0 flow for more than 3 months, is observed in approximately 15–25% of patients undergoing diagnostic coronary angiography.
